Taskrabbit, an IKEA-owned marketplace platform connecting people with Taskers for home services (furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, etc.), is seeking a Senior Manager of Brand & Content to build and scale the company's brand and content engine.
In this role, you will own Taskrabbit's global content strategy and editorial calendar, translating brand positioning into a cohesive, always-on content system that drives awareness, engagement, and demand across channels. You'll define what the company says, how often it shows up, and how its narrative comes to life across marketing touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and evolve the global content strategy and editorial calendar anchored in brand positioning, service category insights, and customer life moments
• Define content pillars including tone, proof-point hierarchy, and channel-specific guidelines that balance functional authority with emotional storytelling
• Build a messaging architecture and manage a cross-channel content engine, translating brand positioning into a full messaging hierarchy (core narrative, category proof points, audience-specific value props for Clients, Taskers, and Partners)
• Own the message map as a living document, extending the architecture as new categories, markets, and partnerships (IKEA, Wayfair) come online
• Partner with channel leads to adapt content for platform-specific formats while maintaining consistent programming
• Collaborate with SEO/AEO teams to align content strategy with high-intent search and AI discovery opportunities
• Develop and manage end-to-end campaign processes, generating campaign concepts rooted in cultural moments, category insights, and customer triggers
• Prototype and pitch multiple campaign directions per quarter with hooks, proof points, and channel plans
• Work closely with Creative to brief and develop scalable content formats (video, social, editorial)
• Define repeatable formats and systems enabling high-quality, high-volume output
• Contribute to evolving AI-enabled creative workflows to increase efficiency
• Define success metrics for content strategy and continuously refine based on performance data and business needs
You'll work cross-functionally with Creative, PR, Social, Growth, CRM, SEO, and regional teams. This role sits at the center of Taskrabbit's next growth phase, helping define how the brand shows up globally while building customer recognition, trust, and preference.
The position is hybrid, requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week, based in either the San Francisco or New York City office.
