DoubleVerify is seeking a Senior Incident Manager to lead the company's Major Incident Management (MIM) program. This is a high-impact individual contributor role responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle of critical incidents—from detection and response through business impact assessment, communication, and post-incident improvement. You will serve as the single point of accountability for Severity 1–3 incidents, driving real-time decision-making and coordination across Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Executive teams. Key responsibilities include leading incident response as incident commander, running communications with executives and stakeholders, translating technical issues into clear business impact, and owning the continuous improvement of the Major Incident Management process. You'll lead post-incident reviews, track key metrics like MTTR and incident trends, coordinate with Product and Commercial teams on client communications, and align incident response with business priorities including customer and revenue impact. The role requires 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Technical Operations, or Incident Management, with proven ability to lead Sev1/Sev2 incidents in high-availability environments and coordinate cross-functional teams during critical outages. You should have a solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS or GCP), experience with monitoring and incident tools (Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty), and comfort working with logs, alerts, and system diagnostics. Leadership and communication skills are essential: you must be able to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, translate technical issues into business impact, and drive decisions under pressure. The ideal candidate is calm, decisive, execution-focused, and experienced in improving processes and operational maturity. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in AdTech or digital media, familiarity with SLOs/SLIs and reliability frameworks, experience with automation or AI-driven incident tooling, and ITIL certification.
