Salary: USD 200,000 - 270,000 / annual

Frontier Medicines seeks a Senior Director of Vendor Management and CMC Business Operations to lead supplier relationships and material requirements planning across the pharmaceutical supply chain. This role oversees internal operations, contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), suppliers, testing laboratories, and logistics vendors. You will be accountable with Quality Assurance for ensuring vendor compliance with global regulations, readiness for regulatory inspections, and protection of patient safety, product quality, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include developing and executing sourcing strategies for end-to-end supply chain excellence, managing supplier relationships and negotiations, identifying and qualifying suppliers with appropriate quality and capacity, conducting supplier performance management, and identifying cost reduction opportunities. You will prepare and issue RFPs, manage budgets and invoice reconciliation, develop and track material requirements including planning, packaging, labeling, and distribution activities, and monitor and report on key supply chain metrics. The role requires active engagement with the Frontier development team on project packaging and labeling characteristics, and collaboration with Quality Assurance, Finance, and internal stakeholders on supplier qualification and contract terms. This is a hybrid position based in the Greater Boston area with occasional travel required for in-person meetings. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum BS degree in Science or Engineering (advanced degree preferred) - 10+ years of applicable pharmaceutical experience - Strong working knowledge of global GMP requirements, regulations, and guidance - Proven clinical and/or commercial drug product supply chain experience - Experience with logistics supervision - Excellent leadership and communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level management - Ability to interact effectively with internal and external organizations, collaborators, and customers - Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct
