Salary: USD 150,640 - 215,200 / annual
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is seeking a Senior Director of Field Activation to lead the Americas Field Activation & Execution team. Reporting to the VP of Field Enablement, you will define and execute strategy for field-specific enablement needs, aligning your team's work to business outcomes and global programs built by Skills and Leadership Development teams.
Your team's time allocation: 70% driving adoption of global skill programs across the field, 20% addressing bespoke sales team enablement needs, and 10% stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Americas Field Activation & Execution team and defining field-specific enablement strategy
- Driving adoption of global skill programs across distributed field teams while addressing sales-team-specific enablement needs
- Managing quarterly enablement and leadership team connects to align on business impact and emerging needs with sales leadership
- Providing structured feedback to global program teams to ensure programs meet specific field needs
- Leading, coaching, and developing your team of field enablement managers to build organizational depth and bench strength
- Championing and embedding Samsara's operating principles as enablement programs scale globally
Minimum qualifications: 10+ years of experience including 7+ years in sales as a quota-carrying Account Executive or sales manager; experience leading a field-facing enablement or sales operations team; strong track record of driving program adoption across distributed sales organizations; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ideal candidates also have direct experience as a frontline sales manager, a data-driven approach to measuring program adoption, and experience localizing global programs for field needs.
