Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a Senior Director of Growth Marketing to lead their international marketing organization and drive data-driven growth strategies. You will oversee four core teams: Marketing Automation (MAT), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Marketing Analytics, and Marketing AI. Your mission is to build scalable growth engines, improve conversion funnels, and foster data-driven decision-making across customer acquisition and lifecycle efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define strategy, performance metrics, and leadership for MAT, CRO, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing AI teams
- Supervise and develop a high-performing international team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation
- Develop and implement global growth strategies aligned with Lightspeed's business objectives across all markets and verticals
- Drive experimentation and data analysis to optimize lead generation, qualification, conversion funnels, and retention efforts
- Lead marketing automation strategy and global technology infrastructure to ensure efficient, scalable campaign execution
- Conduct CRO initiatives across web platforms in collaboration with UX, design, and content teams
- Partner with IT to implement AI-driven approaches that enhance marketing efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with data teams to define KPIs, create dashboards, and establish a culture of performance measurement
- Work closely with regional leaders, product teams, and sales operations to align growth priorities and execution plans
- Establish a strong experimentation framework and learning culture across all teams
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years in growth marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, marketing operations, marketing technology, systems design, data analysis, or web/digital experience management, ideally in international SaaS environments
- 7+ years managing teams, including cross-functional and remote teams
- Proven success managing or developing teams in marketing automation/AI, CRO, and/or data analytics
- Deep expertise in modern marketing technologies (Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Fivetran, Looker, GA4, Clay)
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to use data to optimize marketing performance
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments with passion for experimentation and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, international mindset
- Fluent English for workplace communication
Desired but not required:
- Experience in POS systems, retail technology, or hospitality technology sectors
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
