Krak is a money app from Payward (parent company of Kraken) that empowers users to earn, send, and spend money instantaneously across 160+ countries. As Senior Brand Designer, you will own the complete visual identity and creative direction for Krak's brand presence across all touchpoints—website, product launches, marketing campaigns, email, social media, app store assets, and events.
You will lead brand refreshes and evolution, establishing design standards that ensure Krak looks and feels consistent everywhere. Key responsibilities include developing 3D product visualizations (particularly for the card product), building motion systems and animations that bring the brand to life, and leveraging AI tools for rapid concepting and production. You'll develop and grow Krak's illustration style, creating original work while building reusable libraries to enable other teams.
A core part of this role is building scalable design systems—Figma component libraries, marketing templates, and localization-ready layouts that allow rapid, on-brand production at scale. You'll design creative automation workflows, programmatic asset systems, and modular campaign kits to support launches across multiple markets without proportional manual effort increases. You'll stay hands-on with AI-assisted production pipelines, treating them as fundamental to how Krak's brand is created.
You bring 5+ years of brand design experience, ideally in fast-paced fintech or world-class design agencies working on fintech products. You demonstrate excellence in typography, color, layout, and composition, with a portfolio showcasing detail-oriented work, strategic thinking, and provocative creativity. You're a natural storyteller who can rationalize design decisions and communicate concepts clearly. You thrive working independently across multiple projects in high-performance environments, iterating quickly while maintaining quality.
