Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. The platform aggregated $21B in trading volume in 2025 and is positioned as an alternative news source. You'll lead the creative strategy and execution for Polymarket's sports vertical, one of the company's fastest-growing segments. Sitting within the Design team, you'll work directly with partnership, marketing, and product leads to own the complete creative lifecycle for sports activations. Key responsibilities include: - Leading creative across all sports and league partnership activations: co-branded campaigns, in-app integrations, paid social, display, CTV, and event assets - Building and maintaining partner-ready design systems, templates, and brand frameworks that enable rapid activation - Owning licensing compliance across all sports creative, navigating league brand guidelines, marks usage, player imagery restrictions, and co-branding rules - Managing partner-side creative reviews and approval workflows with league and media contacts - Directing and QA-ing motion designers on partner creative, raising quality standards across the team - Collaborating with performance marketing to iterate on paid social creative using live performance data You'll need proven experience leading design for sports or league partnership activations with a portfolio demonstrating real co-branded work at scale. Hands-on experience navigating licensing and rights compliance is essential. Your portfolio should span paid social (Meta, TikTok), display, CTV, and experiential assets. You should have experience directing and QA-ing creative output from other designers, not just managing your own work. You'll bring a sharp point of view on sports visual identity—knowing what makes sports creative feel considered versus generic. You're comfortable moving from brief to live in fast-moving, high-visibility environments with ambiguity and real timelines. Strong communication skills for managing external partner relationships and internal cross-functional feedback are critical. Plus factors include experience designing within or alongside official major league partnerships (NFL, NBA, MLB), familiarity with prediction markets or sports betting, and experience working with motion designers on broadcast-adjacent formats.
