The company provides innovative accounting and financial management software designed to help entrepreneurs and accountants streamline repetitive tasks and gain better financial insights.
As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will be a core member of the technical and accounting support team, serving as the central point of contact between client business leaders, their in-house accountants, and accounting firms. You will investigate client issues, provide solutions, and escalate complex problems to technical teams as needed. You will also assist accountants with data integration and migration onto the Pennylane platform.
In your first three months, you will complete the Pennylane Academy training program, learn the product deeply, understand company vision and departments, and begin handling accounting-related support requests. You will learn to qualify requests using strong accounting principles and deliver fast, impactful solutions.
From months 4-6, you will gain autonomy managing tickets end-to-end, handle increasingly complex client requests, contribute to creating and updating help documentation, share accounting knowledge with colleagues, and provide product feedback from the field to the product team.
Long-term, you will become a product expert, drive team efficiency improvements, and lead projects aligned with your interests. Career progression opportunities include specialized support roles, account management, or customer implementation leadership.
Required qualifications: accounting degree (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or equivalent Bachelor in accounting/administration); minimum 3 years of accounting firm experience (ideally covering at least three fiscal periods); direct experience working with business leaders is a plus; comfort with innovative tools and new technologies; strong problem-solving and autonomy; Pennylane platform knowledge is a plus.
