Join Coinbase's Treasury Operations team as a Specialist responsible for day-to-day treasury and banking operations that keep fiat payment rails running for millions of customers globally. You'll own critical payment workflows across Coinbase's global entity structure, including bank account funding, balance monitoring, liquidity forecasting, and customer payment processing across multiple fiat rails.
Key responsibilities include executing daily payment processing with timely and compliant settlement, investigating and resolving escalated payment issues through root-cause analysis, and coordinating with banking partners on fiat rail integrations. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to test and launch new payment capabilities at the intersection of traditional finance and crypto. You'll also serve as a primary operations contact for banking partners, triaging issues and managing relationships with third-party vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
The role requires 2-4 years of hands-on experience in payment operations, treasury operations, or banking with demonstrated proficiency in ACH and multi-rail payment processing. AAP or NACHA certification is strongly preferred. You'll need 1-2 years of experience managing relationships with banking institutions and vendors, plus proven ability to balance competing priorities and deliver detail-oriented work in high-volume environments. The ideal candidate utilizes generative AI responsibly to drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality while maintaining human oversight.
