Pluang is seeking a Special Projects Manager (Product) based in Jakarta to own high-priority initiatives across their full lifecycle—from feasibility and business case development through build, launch, and post-launch growth. This role is deliberately broad: you will be the single-threaded owner of whichever initiative you're assigned, working end-to-end across the Pluang ecosystem in a regulated fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own feasibility and discovery: Conduct market sizing, user research, competitive analysis, and regulatory assessments. Build business cases with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and go/no-go recommendations. Validate demand early through prototypes, experiments, and user interviews before committing engineering resources.
Drive execution: Translate validated concepts into PRDs, user stories, and sprint plans. Partner with Engineering and Design to ship iteratively with high quality standards. Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Success, and external partners to ensure complete launches.
Own launch and go-to-market: Plan and execute end-to-end launches including rollout strategy, internal enablement, lifecycle communications, and risk controls. Collaborate with Marketing and Growth on positioning, activation campaigns, and launch metrics.
Grow what you ship: Instrument funnels, monitor adoption and retention, and iterate based on data and user feedback. Run experiments (A/B tests, pricing iterations, lifecycle journeys) to drive engagement, AUM, and revenue. Make and own decisions to double down, pivot, or sunset initiatives.
Operate AI-first: Use AI tools as default workflow components for feasibility research, competitive analysis, PRD drafting, prototyping, and data analysis. Identify opportunities to embed AI into products (personalization, automation, support deflection). Champion responsible AI usage with attention to data privacy and regulatory constraints.
Required Experience:
3–5 years of product management or product ownership, preferably in fintech, consumer tech, or digital financial services. Demonstrated track record of taking at least one product or major initiative through full lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch growth. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in ambiguous, execution-heavy environments.
Key Competencies:
End-to-end ownership across strategic (business cases, feasibility) and detailed execution (specs, QA, launch checklists). Data-informed decision making with funnel analysis, cohort thinking, and experimentation mindset. AI fluency with hands-on experience with modern AI tools and judgment about reliability. Strong communication skills to align Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, and leadership. Commercial awareness of unit economics and product-to-business outcome connections. High user empathy, especially around trust and transparency for retail investors. Bias to action, resourcefulness, and willingness to learn and iterate. Comfort operating in regulated environments with attention to detail and controls.
