Datadog is seeking a Recruiting Sourcer II to drive talent acquisition for the company's continued growth. This role partners closely with recruiters to develop creative, tailored sourcing strategies that engage passive candidates and build pipelines for complex, hard-to-fill positions.
Key responsibilities include generating and maintaining active and passive candidate pipelines using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, sourcing campaigns, and X-Ray searches. You will amplify job openings internally, leveraging employee networks to identify hidden talent. You'll develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, track progress, and share updates with stakeholders. The role emphasizes creative prospecting to find diverse talent that might otherwise stay off the radar, as well as mapping the talent market to understand talent flow, market attrition, and competitor talent pools.
You'll specialize in event and project management, messaging analysis, creative prospecting, and stakeholder engagement. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong independent work capability while managing multiple concurrent searches.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, either at a search firm or in-house recruiting team with high-volume recruiting exposure. You should demonstrate high urgency, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is tenacious and passionate about sourcing, able to work independently on multiple roles simultaneously, with a proven track record of converting passive prospects into active candidates using various tools. Creative, innovative, intellectually curious, and results-driven mindset is essential.
