UnitX is building AI-powered robotic vision systems for quality inspection and defect detection in manufacturing. The company has deployed 2,500+ systems across 200+ leading manufacturers' production lines, processing $15B in products annually. As Solutions Manager, you will lead a solutions team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying defect inspection automation solutions tailored to client needs. You'll work with robotic conveyance systems operating at high speed, collaborating across sales, project management, and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include leading the solution team to support sales through building solution proposals for vision inspection automation systems using UnitX technology, and supporting the service team during deployment phases with hardware and software integration and customization. You will build and grow a high-performing solutions team including Solution Architects, providing technical leadership in vision inspection automation system development and implementation, encompassing motion, vision, and software integrations. You'll ensure delivered solutions are robust and reliable, collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, and provide regular product feedback to the engineering team for continuous improvement.
You bring 7+ years of experience working on automated machine vision systems for manufacturing, with 3+ years managing solution engineers and building solution teams at manufacturing or machine vision automation companies. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline. You have strong technical skills in automation system design, machine vision hardware and software, knowledge of common control systems and industrial robots, and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
