Monday.com is an AI work platform used by 250,000+ customers to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform. The company is growing its sales team and seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join the Solutions Engineering group.
In this role, you will be a critical bridge between prospects and the monday.com platform, leveraging deep product knowledge and SaaS expertise to guide complex sales processes. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to establish methodologies and streamline sales processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Help prospects understand the value and capabilities of the monday.com platform
- Lead the technical aspects of large and complex sales processes
- Work alongside salespeople to streamline the sales process and support deal progression
- Map out prospects' business processes and guide implementation within the platform
- Establish pre-configured solution packages and define best practices for deployment
- Strategize on large opportunities and provide technical guidance
- Respond to technical questions and security requirements from customers
- Articulate technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the NYC office.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering role (or similar) in a SaaS environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Deep technical curiosity for how IT systems work in a business context
- Great communication and customer-facing skills
- Understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs
- Understanding of GraphQL (advantageous)
- Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Business process mapping skills
- Experience responding to technical questions and security requirements from customers
- Exceptional teamwork capabilities
