Factory is hiring an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical relationship and drive revenue with the company's largest customers across the Eastern US. This is a strategic, full-cycle role that extends well beyond running product demos. You will own the technical thread for customer engagements from initial evaluation through customer growth and expansion. Your responsibilities include leading full-cycle product evaluations, designing proofs of concept, and running pilots inside customer environments to ensure developers actually adopt Factory and see sustained value. You'll turn successful pilots into broad adoption by identifying new use cases, teams, workflows, and workloads, always aligning technical objectives with revenue outcomes. You'll architect rollouts by helping teams integrate Factory into existing workflows—CI/CD pipelines, code review, testing, deployment—and figure out where the platform fits and where it needs to adapt, including for air-gapped and private deployments in regulated industries. You'll serve as the customer's technical voice, diagnosing friction points and translating customer needs into clear product feedback that gets pushed to the product team. You'll also feed the product engine by translating patterns across customers into actionable insights, seeing what's working and what isn't before anyone else. Factory positions Solutions Engineers as front-line product signal and revenue-focused customer champions. You'll work as part of one team, partnering closely with Account Executives and acting as a bridge between customers and product. REQUIREMENTS: - 3–4+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Developer Advocacy, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar), with experience partnering with Account Executives to support the customer lifecycle - Proven track record leading complex, technical enterprise deal cycles; comfortable building champions, multi-threading across technical stakeholders, and working across organizational levels to drive buying decisions - Ability to code and communicate effectively; comfortable reading code, writing scripts, debugging integrations, and presenting to staff engineers; CS degree or equivalent technical foundation expected - Understanding of the modern developer stack: Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, deployment strategies (depth in all not required, but ability to learn quickly) - Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills; ability to diagnose issues in customer environments and explain solutions clearly - Hunger and bias toward action in a fast-moving startup environment selling to sophisticated buyers - Ability to travel up to 50% - Hybrid schedule for employees in the NYC office footprint
