You will join the Commercial Team as a Senior Sales Manager, reporting to the Director. This is a high-impact role driving rapid growth across various industries by selling cutting-edge online payment solutions. You'll manage multiple concurrent sales cycles with a focus on high conversion rates and exceeding sales targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and cultivating promising merchants and prospects to build a healthy pipeline across verticals
- Selling cross-border payment solutions and services to eCommerce merchants using outbound and inbound techniques
- Acting as a consultant and industry expert, helping merchants evaluate Checkout.com's capabilities and addressing detailed product questions
- Preparing thorough presentations and proposals for prospective clients
- Orchestrating the entire sales process and serving as the primary point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders
- Partnering with sales team members to share best practices, business insights, and industry trends
- Providing feedback on local market trends, competitor insights, customer needs, and product/marketing information
The role offers an uncapped recurring commissions plan on top of a competitive base salary. You'll work in a hybrid model with three days per week in the London office to support collaboration and team connection.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in payments
- Solid network of potential prospects and partners
- Salesforce proficiency
- Tech-savvy with a passion for technology
- Strong business acumen and awareness of financial factors
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize shifting workloads effectively
