Salary: USD 220,000 - 250,000 / annual
Coralogix is a full-stack observability and security platform built for modern engineering teams. The platform integrates logs, metrics, traces, security events, infrastructure, Kubernetes, applications, and user experience in one unified interface. With a no-index architecture and in-stream analytics, Coralogix helps customers reduce costs, retain more data, and troubleshoot faster without compromising scale or performance.
You will join the San Francisco pre-sales team as a Solutions Engineer, partnering with Account Executives to drive technical sales. This is a hands-on technical role where you will own the technical strategy for sales opportunities, lead discovery across customer architecture and operational pain points, and design tailored demonstrations that connect Coralogix to real customer use cases.
Key responsibilities include managing technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements from scope through validation, supporting hands-on deployment, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting during customer evaluations, and working across logs, metrics, traces, Kubernetes, cloud environments, applications, and security use cases. You will explain Coralogix's architecture and differentiation to both technical and executive audiences, identify technical risks, remove blockers, and guide customers toward successful technical decisions. You will also partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to represent field feedback and improve competitive positioning.
Success in this role requires earning credibility with engineers and practitioners while maintaining commercial awareness to move opportunities forward. You will need to know when to go deep technically, when to simplify, when to challenge assumptions, and when to escalate.
The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days per week from the San Francisco office (255 California Street, San Francisco, CA 94111).
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering
- Strong hands-on technical ability across deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and integration work
- Solid understanding of observability, including logs, metrics, traces, APM, dashboards, alerting, and infrastructure monitoring
- Experience leading technical evaluations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept processes
- Ability to speak credibly with engineers, DevOps, SRE, platform, and security teams
- Confidence engaging executives and translating technical value into business impact
- Practical experience with cloud-native environments, distributed systems, containers, and modern infrastructure
- Coding or scripting experience in languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar
- Strong communication, ownership, follow-through, and commercial judgment
- Relevant technical experience may include: Kubernetes and containerized environments, AWS/Azure/GCP, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Docker, APM and distributed tracing, log analytics and telemetry pipelines, SIEM or security monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, RUM, Terraform/Helm or deployment automation, CI/CD workflows, and application instrumentation and debugging
