Snowflake is seeking a Solution Engineer to work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize winning sales cycles, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and close large deals.
In this role, you will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. You'll work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from initial demo through proof of concept to design and implementation. You will maintain deep understanding of the evolving industry landscape, including competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake effectively in relation to them. You'll collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment
- Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences (impromptu whiteboard sessions and formal presentations/demos)
- Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
- Ability to connect customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
- Ability to conduct deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks and connect them to Snowflake Data Architecture
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience); Master's in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus
- Experience with Global Systems Integrators (EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) is beneficial but not required
- Must be based in or near Dallas, Texas
