As Legal Engineer Manager for the Paris office, you will lead and grow Harvey's pre-sales legal engineering function across EMEA. You'll manage a team of Legal Engineers—skilled lawyers from top-tier firms—who serve as trusted advisors to law firm and in-house legal prospects, helping them understand how Harvey's AI solutions enhance their day-to-day workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop Legal Engineers, setting clear performance expectations and building a high-trust, high-output team culture
- Own the quality and consistency of pre-sales legal engineering, ensuring demos, discovery conversations, and deal support meet the highest standard
- Partner closely with Account Executives and GTM leadership to prioritize pipeline, develop deal strategy, and support conversion on complex opportunities
- Engage directly with lawyers at prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to feed field insights into positioning, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy
- Lead tailored product demonstrations for various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, validating value and showcasing relevant features
- Act as "Voice of the Customer," using your legal perspective to develop effective sales strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team
- Travel as needed to customer offices and company locations

Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 7+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) in law firm or in-house legal environment
- Proven experience managing a team with a track record of developing talent and driving performance
- Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, with ability to quickly develop and demonstrate platform expertise
- Strong commercial instincts and credibility with senior stakeholders at law firms and in-house legal teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience running training, workshops, or client-facing product sessions
- Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
