Salary: USD 161,250 - 180,000 / annual
Nexthink is seeking a Solution Consultant specializing in Healthcare and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to join their North America presales team. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on supporting the sales organization in the healthcare vertical.
In this position, you will serve as Nexthink's subject matter expert and thought leader in clinical healthcare, bringing deep expertise in virtual apps and virtual desktops to complex enterprise deals. Your responsibilities include:
- Act as an internal and external SME, evangelizing Nexthink's platform value across the clinical healthcare market
- Provide deal qualification support by leveraging healthcare and VDI expertise to help sales teams map leads to business outcomes
- Deliver solution demonstrations showing how Nexthink supports healthcare-focused initiatives
- Engage cross-functionally with End User Computing, IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management teams to identify high-value use cases
- Drive large-scale healthcare transactions forward, applying strong account management skills
- Facilitate value-based workshops helping prospects discover how Nexthink addresses their strategic priorities
- Represent Nexthink as a speaker at company events and marketing initiatives
- Build Nexthink's reputation through thought leadership and industry engagement in clinical healthcare
The role requires regular domestic travel to client sites across the USA, with occasional international travel. Nexthink is a leader in digital employee experience, with over 20 million endpoints deployed and $350M+ ARR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in presales or technical consulting, ideally selling SaaS/Cloud solutions into clinical healthcare institutions
- Hands-on, multi-site experience with Citrix, AVD, Windows 365, Omnissa Horizon, or Amazon WorkSpaces with deep platform expertise
- Experience inside multi-hospital systems or academic medical centers, including EHRs (Epic, Oracle Health, Cerner), imaging workloads, and roaming clinical sessions (clinical-facing, not payer or back-office)
- Ability to translate technical performance metrics (e.g., logon times) into clinical impact and speak credibly with both CMIOs and virtualization architects
- Capability to map and troubleshoot the full delivery path: device, network, gateway, broker, session host, profile, image, application
- Proven ability to scope technical evaluations, defend assumptions, and quantify business problems
- Demonstrated understanding of Healthcare IT support practices, challenges, and applications
- Familiarity managing End User Computing or Desktop Services in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of Digital Experience Monitoring or similar end-user experience functions
- Strong communication skills and judgment to work independently, escalate appropriately, and engage confidently with senior leaders
