Salary: USD 161,250 - 180,000 / annual
Nexthink is seeking a Solutions Consultant to drive pre-sales technical support for the Federal DoD market. You will engage with complex Federal DoD accounts, providing day-to-day technical support on sales opportunities including discovery meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, POVs, and close-out meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support across the full sales cycle to achieve technical wins
- Demonstrate Nexthink solutions to customers and prospects, communicating core value propositions and differentiators
- Work with multiple customer stakeholders (IT Security, IT Operations, IT Service Management) to illustrate use cases and business value
- Complete technical questionnaires, security questionnaires, RFIs, and RFPs in compliance with Federal requirements
- Become a Nexthink SME and thought leader internally and externally
- Help the sales team qualify leads using deep product and DoD requirements knowledge
- Execute flawless Technical Validation cycles (POC/POV) to obtain technical wins
- Participate in webinars, marketing events, and trade shows as a technical SME
The role reports to the Senior Director of Solution Consulting (North America), with day-to-day priorities set by the local sales leader. You can be based out of Nexthink's US HQ in Boston or home-based anywhere on the East Coast. Travel expectations are 30-40%, with occasional international travel possible.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of pre-sales experience selling to DoD Agencies (required)
- US Citizenship (required due to US Government contract requirements)
- Active or prior DoD clearance at Secret level or above (required)
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact comfortably with senior executives and technical teams
- Experience and knowledge of the Federal market with functional understanding of current industry security standards and regulations
- Entrepreneurial mindset enabling independent work with good judgment on escalation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a velocity sales environment
- Quick learner with aptitude for technology and Nexthink products
- Prior experience with End User Computing environments, IT Service Management, or Security/Governance/Risk/Compliance (desirable)
- Team player thriving in dynamic work environments
