Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, is seeking a Solution Consultant for Clinical Operations based in Suzhou, China. This role is integral to the sales team, partnering with account managers and market strategists to serve as a product expert throughout the sales cycle.
You will provide consultative expertise to Veeva's customers and prospects in China, focusing on clinical trial management and operational challenges. Your responsibilities include understanding each customer's clinical trial objectives and regulatory requirements, designing and delivering high-impact product demonstrations and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), and presenting tailored solutions that showcase how Veeva Vault Clinical Suite (eTMF, CTMS, Study Training, Payment, Site Connect, etc.) addresses their needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with account teams to identify customer business challenges and clinical trial objectives
- Design and present demonstrations, workshops, and CRPs that articulate business value, operational efficiency, and compliance benefits
- Lead technical components of the sales cycle, including expert responses to RFPs and RFIs
- Manage and configure Veeva Vault Clinical Operations demo environments with current features and clinical workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Professional Services, Strategy, Customer Success) to ensure customer success and market feedback integration
- Support marketing and industry presence through content creation, product videos, and conference presentations (including Veeva's China RDQ Summit)
- Travel approximately 30-40% within China for customer engagements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences Clinical Operations, including direct experience in Clinical Trial Management (CRA/CTA roles), Clinical IT Business Partner positions, or clinical software solution vendor roles
- 2+ years of software pre-sales experience (Solution Consulting) or software training for Life Sciences clinical organizations
- Hands-on experience with digital clinical platforms and e-Clinical solutions (e.g., Veeva Vault eTMF/CTMS or other legacy clinical systems)
- Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle, GCP compliance, and site-sponsor collaboration workflows
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills
- Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud architecture and clinical software integration models
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Platform and Veeva Vault Clinical Suite
- Direct working experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO clinical operations
