Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, seeks a Solution Consultant for Clinical Operations based in Suzhou, China. You will serve as a product expert within the sales organization, partnering with account teams to drive clinical operations software adoption across Chinese pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO customers.
In this role, you will conduct consultative discovery sessions to understand each customer's clinical trial management and operational challenges. You will design and deliver high-impact product demonstrations, workshops, and conference room pilots (CRPs) showcasing how Veeva's Vault Clinical Suite (eTMF, CTMS, Study Training, Payment, Site Connect, and related modules) addresses regulatory requirements and drives operational efficiency. You will lead technical components of the sales cycle, including expert responses to RFPs and RFIs, and manage demo environments to reflect the latest product capabilities and clinical workflows.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Professional Services, Strategy, and Customer Success—to ensure customer success and integrate market feedback. You will also support marketing and industry presence by creating content, recording product videos, and presenting at key industry conferences, including Veeva's China RDQ Summit.
This role requires approximately 30–40% travel within China for customer engagements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences Clinical Operations, including direct experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Trial Associate (CTA), Clinical IT Business Partner, or at a clinical software solution vendor
- 2+ years of software pre-sales (Solution Consulting) or software training experience for Life Sciences clinical organizations
- Hands-on experience with digital clinical platforms and e-Clinical solutions (e.g., Veeva Vault eTMF/CTMS or comparable legacy systems)
- Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle, GCP compliance, and site-sponsor collaboration workflows
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills
- Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Energetic self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel 30–40% within China
NICE TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud architecture and clinical software integration models
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Platform and Veeva Vault Clinical Suite (eTMF, CTMS, Site Connect, Payments, etc.)
- Direct working experience in a pharmaceutical company, biotech firm, or CRO in a clinical capacity
