Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its #18 productivity app in the App Store.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in shaping the product roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the complex app architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to drive product direction.
You should have a track record of shipping products from inception to scale, experience with large user bases, and a customer-obsessed mindset. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, works quickly, and balances focus with engagement in a fast-paced startup environment. You'll need strong technical skills in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
