Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Build team, a high-leverage group responsible for transforming AI-generated prototypes into production-grade enterprise services. This role sits at the intersection of AI-accelerated development and regulated financial software engineering. You will assess prototypes created by employees across Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and other departments using sanctioned AI tools, then make technical decisions about which ideas to harden, rebuild, or redirect. Your core responsibility is rebuilding selected prototypes as enterprise-grade services that meet Robinhood's full engineering standards: SSO, audit logging, secrets management, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and security review—all baked in from the first commit. Key responsibilities include: - Evaluate AI-built prototypes and determine technical viability and approach - Design and ship services on Robinhood's enterprise platforms with full security and reliability standards - Build AI-natively: drive agents through assessment, porting, and test scaffolding; ship MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills as production artifacts - Partner directly with business units (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance) to translate workflows into adopted software - Deliver operational handoffs including runbooks, evaluations, and dashboards - Establish reusable patterns with the Enterprise Platforms team - Mentor and review AI-generated code with rigor and teaching quality You'll work in a fast-moving, high-performing environment where building fast means building safely. The team operates under the principle that AI multiplies what a senior engineer can own, with agents handling first-pass work and you providing review, hardening, and production-readiness decisions. The role is based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
