Salary: USD 145,000 - 160,000 / annual

Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive, personalized platform. The company combines evidence-based health interventions with a hybrid in-person and virtual care model, empowering patients with dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health care, and social resources. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the technical strategy and build secure, scalable infrastructure for the core cancer care platform. You'll work across the full stack with a strong engineering team, alongside product, data, and operational leadership, directly shaping the product experience. Key responsibilities include: - Contributing to the development of the cancer care platform with emphasis on user experience, workflow integration, and security - Collaborating with operations, product, data engineering, and analytics to build core systems that enable the care team to serve patients efficiently - Following secure development practices and handling protected health information (PHI) within HIPAA and SOC 2 controls - Moving quickly and experimenting with modern tools like Claude, Cursor, and AI-assisted development You should have 2+ years of experience designing and building user-centric products with strong full-stack capabilities. The tech stack uses Python and AWS managed services (EventBridge, Lambda, DynamoDB). Fluency with AI coding tools is expected as a core skill. Healthcare technology experience, including familiarity with EHRs and interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is comfortable with ambiguity. You should enjoy direct customer engagement, understand their challenges, and leverage feedback to improve the product.
