Andela is a global talent marketplace connecting organizations with elite remote technical experts across 135 countries, with a focus on high-potential emerging markets in Africa and Latin America. The company specializes in AI, Cloud, and App Development talent, and operates the Andela Talent Cloud, a proprietary AI-driven platform for managing the global talent lifecycle.
As Social Media Specialist, you will own Andela's social media presence across paid and organic channels, with emphasis on LinkedIn and B2B platforms. You report to the Director of Growth Marketing and collaborate across the marketing organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Organic Social Media: Manage Andela's organic presence on LinkedIn, YouTube, and relevant B2B platforms with consistent brand voice. Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned to marketing campaigns, product launches, thought leadership, and company milestones. Create, curate, and publish compelling content for technology buyers, enterprise leaders, and talent decision-makers. Engage with followers, build community, and collaborate with content, brand, and PR teams to amplify company stories. Support employee advocacy initiatives to extend reach and elevate executive thought leadership.
Paid Social Media: Plan, build, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns for brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline contribution. Own targeting strategy, ad creative briefs, budget pacing, and performance optimization. Align paid social with integrated campaigns and account-based marketing efforts. Run A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences, and placements; apply learnings to improve performance. Manage budgets and optimize spend toward measurable, pipeline-generating outcomes.
Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on key social media KPIs. Use data to surface insights and make recommendations that improve content strategy and paid performance. Monitor competitive landscape and social trends relevant to B2B tech and talent industry.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with content, design, and growth teams to ensure social assets are on-brand and aligned to campaign goals. Partner with external relations team to amplify PR moments and executive thought leadership. Provide social media guidance and best practices to internal stakeholders and executives building personal brand on LinkedIn.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3–4 years in social media marketing with clear focus on B2B audiences. Hands-on experience managing both organic and paid social programs; LinkedIn expertise is essential. Track record of growing social audiences and driving measurable engagement in B2B context. Experience working within or alongside demand generation or growth marketing teams is a strong plus.
Skills & Capabilities: Strong content creation skills with ability to write compelling copy and brief creative effectively for B2B audiences. Comfortable with analytics platforms and able to translate data into actionable recommendations. Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in fast-moving environment.
