Salary: USD 167,000 - 251,000 / annual

Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving over 4,700 customers including Atlassian, Burger King, NBCUniversal, and Square, is seeking a Social Media Manager to join its Content Marketing team. This is a hands-on role focused on developing and executing Amplitude's social media strategy across priority channels. Key Responsibilities: - Own social content strategy and execution from ideation through publication, managing editorial calendars and creating posts, threads, short-form video concepts, carousels, and platform-native formats - Partner with Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, Communications, and subject-matter experts to translate complex ideas around AI, analytics, and product development into compelling social narratives - Identify relevant conversations, trends, news, and cultural moments where Amplitude can differentiate its perspective and create timely, attention-earning content - Support executive and thought leadership content by collaborating with senior leaders to develop authentic social content that reflects their expertise while connecting to broader company narratives - Monitor channel and content performance, analyze patterns and opportunities, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve content strategy, distribution, and engagement The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with executives, designers, and subject-matter experts, and comfort using AI tools for research, brainstorming, and iteration while maintaining high standards for originality, accuracy, and human voice. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, editorial, communications, or related field, ideally in B2B technology, SaaS, AI, or fast-moving industries - Demonstrated experience creating social content for a company, brand, executive, or community with portfolio examples - Excellent writing and editing skills with strong understanding of platform-specific content effectiveness (LinkedIn, X, etc.) - Highly organized with ability to manage multiple content streams, stakeholders, deadlines, and feedback - Comfortable using social analytics and performance data to evaluate content and inform strategy - Strong editorial instinct and ability to recognize compelling ideas and cultural moments - Curiosity about AI, technology, analytics, and product development with ability to research topics deeply
