Salary: USD 160,000 - 270,000 / annual
Eve is an AI-native legal technology platform serving plaintiff law firms. The company has achieved product-market fit with 1000+ law firms, raised $160M+ from top-tier investors (Spark Capital, A16z, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed), and is growing 2X revenue quarter-over-quarter. The team includes engineers, designers, and operators from Scale, Meta, Airbnb, Cruise, Square, Rubrik, and Lyft, and the company collaborates directly with OpenAI and Anthropic on AI workflows for legal work.
In this role, you will own Eve's complete messaging house—the single source of truth for what Eve is, why it wins, and who it's for. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the master messaging framework (core narrative, value pillars, proof points, persona messaging, and competitive counter-positioning) and ensuring it is tested and refined across the company's highest-leverage assets: the first call deck, keynote presentations, and customer stories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the messaging framework and ensuring consistency across all company communications
- Owning the first call deck—the highest-leverage sales asset—including its narrative, structure, and evolution based on real deal outcomes
- Developing and refining Eve's keynote and event session content, partnering with executives from outline through stage delivery, and presenting when appropriate
- Working directly with the CEO, CPO, and product leadership to sharpen how they communicate the Eve story in board decks, on stage, on podcasts, and in the field
- Building a defensible, well-sourced point of view on how Eve wins in the legal AI landscape and ensuring that differentiation is legible in every asset
- Grounding messaging in market reality by talking to customers, prospects, and sales reps, and bringing insights back to messaging and product strategy
- Partnering with Enablement, Demand Gen, Content, and the broader PMM team to ensure the messaging framework is accurately reflected in collateral, campaigns, training, and launches
Requirements:
- 7+ years in B2B SaaS or legal tech product marketing, with a track record of owning messaging and positioning for a core product or platform (not just contributing)
- Exceptional writing ability; capable of translating technical AI depth into clear, accessible language for busy plaintiff attorneys
- Comfort presenting on stage and in front of executives; ability to hold your own with the CEO and build keynotes that land with live audiences
- Strong framework-based thinking in competitive messaging, category design, and buyer psychology; ability to explain not just what a product does but why it wins
- Genuine curiosity about the market; willingness to sit on sales calls and read analyst reports
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills; ability to maintain one consistent story across Product, Sales, Events, and Marketing without becoming a bottleneck
Nice to have:
- Legal AI experience
