Gopuff is seeking a Site Manager to lead Field Operations at the Newton Highlands facility. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial role where you will oversee all facility operations including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and systems. You will lead a local team of Shift Leaders and Field Operations Associates, as well as manage a team of independent Driver Partners. Key responsibilities include: - Planning and directing all facility operations (deliveries, inventory, equipment, systems) - Driving improvements to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Order Picking Time, Order Dwell Time, Drive Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order - Training and coaching associates on safe work practices and standard processes - Ensuring financial performance by managing budgeted productivity, labor, and expenses - Ensuring compliance with Gopuff and legal policies, procedures, and regulations - Implementing and monitoring Safety and Human Resource compliance, asset protection, and quality assurance - Developing and implementing action plans to improve performance, safety, culture, and financial results - Managing a blended workforce of W2 employees and 1099 independent contractors The role requires availability during peak operating hours (5pm–3am) and flexibility for weekends and holidays. You will be accountable for the overall success of the territory through effective team leadership and operational execution. Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment leading a blended workforce of W2 and 1099 employees - Retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent operational experience - Bachelor's degree (preferred) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong conflict resolution and team development/engagement skills - Proficiency with computer usage, email, and Google Suite - Ability to lead in an ever-changing environment and serve as a change agent for process improvements - Ability to work fluid schedules with availability during peak hours (5pm–3am) and weekends/holidays as needed - Physical capability to stand, bend, reach, and walk during shifts; ability to lift up to 49 pounds
