The Settlement Assistant Manager role is responsible for managing and supporting various aspects of the organization's business activities and counterparty relationships. Key responsibilities include opening and managing the organization's cryptocurrency accounts and wallets held across various counterparty platforms; handling and approving payment instructions raised by business partners; verifying and cross-checking payment amounts and counterparties' wallet information; completing payment processes and releasing funds to counterparties while ensuring due diligence on all procedures; operating with teamwork and flexibility, including evening hours or weekends/public holidays to liaise with counterparties across different time zones; and supporting month-end reporting processes.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, with 5-7 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, middle-office functions, and/or payments processing. Strong knowledge and experience in treasury, trade settlements, and funds movement processes is essential. The role requires excellent time management and organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work in shift-based rotation. Candidates should be strong team players with demonstrated ability to communicate and partner effectively with internal and external parties. Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous due to the need to work closely with both Mandarin and English-speaking stakeholders.
