Allica Bank, the UK's fastest-growing fintech, is seeking an SEO Manager to scale visibility and customer acquisition across traditional search engines and AI platforms. This hands-on role combines strategy and execution, owning SEO across Business Bank Account and Lending products.
You will own the complete SEO strategy and roadmap, including technical SEO, content strategy, off-page optimization, and E-E-A-T signals. Key responsibilities include ensuring technical site health (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals), developing keyword strategy and content gap analyses, building domain authority through high-quality backlinks and citations, and strengthening brand authority signals.
A significant part of this role involves optimizing for AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity). You'll increase Allica's presence and citation share across these platforms, optimize schema and entity relationships, and build reporting to monitor AI citation frequency and competitive positioning.
You'll own end-to-end SEO reporting including visibility, traffic, and commercial metrics, manage the SEO tool stack and analytics setup, and build AI-assisted workflows to streamline content creation, technical audits, and data analysis.
Required experience: 4+ years hands-on SEO, ideally in B2B, fintech, or regulated industries, with proven track record of driving measurable commercial results. Strong technical knowledge of crawling, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data. Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEOmonitor. Comfortable with CMS platforms (HubSpot), basic HTML/CSS, and data analysis (Excel, SQL, Python). Experience optimizing for AI platforms and multi-market SEO required.
