Pennylane, one of France's leading fintech unicorns, is seeking an SEO & AI Content Specialist to join its Growth team in Paris. The company provides a financial and accounting operating system for European SMEs and accounting firms, serving over 1.3 million SMEs and 7,000 accounting firms across Europe.
In this role, you will work closely with the SEO Manager and broader Growth team to drive non-branded organic traffic and conversions through high-quality, AI-enhanced content. Your responsibilities include:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Build AI-powered content workflows that accelerate research, outlining, drafting and optimization while maintaining editorial standards. Design repeatable processes including briefs, quality checklists, templates and guidelines.
- Produce and optimize high-value SEO content including articles, pillar pages and landing pages. Write, update and improve content to generate organic traffic and conversions, turning search intent into clear, useful, well-structured content.
- Run continuous optimization initiatives including content refreshes, consolidation, internal linking and on-page improvements.
- Develop Pennylane's Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) approach by understanding how prospects use AI-powered discovery tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Adapt content to ensure discoverability across emerging AI search journeys and test formats that improve visibility in AI-generated answers.
- Monitor SEO performance using data signals including visibility, rankings, impressions, clicks, CTR, organic traffic and conversions. Translate data into actionable recommendations, run experiments and iterate quickly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Growth to ensure content supports broader acquisition priorities.
You will work with tools including Meteoria, Profound, Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Contentful and Notion. The role offers real room to propose and structure how SEO works at Pennylane, with direct visibility into organic acquisition and conversion impact. **Requirements:**
- Initial, meaningful hands-on experience in SEO with published content you can share
- Fluent in French with strong writing and editing skills; professional working proficiency in English
- Demonstrated ability to improve content and turn good pages into high-performing ones
- Pragmatic, data-informed approach: form hypotheses, test them, measure outcomes and improve
- Current use of AI tools in day-to-day workflow with enthusiasm to deepen practice
- Sharp eye for structure, clarity, accuracy and editorial quality
- Comfortable in fast-moving, collaborative environments with ability to focus on high-impact initiatives
