Zoox is developing a full-stack autonomous mobility solution for urban transportation. As a Senior Technical Program Manager focused on Autonomy Behaviors, you will serve as a critical cross-functional orchestrator, partnering with engineering leaders across software, hardware, vehicle engineering, and product teams to translate corporate strategy into executable tactical and detailed roadmaps.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to develop comprehensive program schedules and identify key milestones that align with company growth objectives
• Proactively identify technical and organizational risks, escalate appropriately, and develop mitigation strategies
• Estimate budgets and resource requirements for autonomy behavior initiatives
• Maintain clear, transparent communication of progress, blockers, and adjustments to stakeholders at all levels
• Drive alignment across distributed teams working on complex autonomous vehicle systems
• Support strategic planning by translating high-level corporate goals into detailed execution plans
This role requires deep technical acumen to understand autonomy systems, strong program management discipline, and exceptional communication skills. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that ambitious technical goals are met on schedule and within resource constraints. The ideal candidate has experience managing large, complex cross-functional programs in hardware or autonomous systems environments.
