Tangible Markets is a fintech platform providing liquidity in private markets, including private equity and real estate. The company operates a digital auction platform and builds tailored marketplaces for financial institutions.
As Senior UX/UI Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of financial products, from user research and customer journey mapping through pixel-perfect interface execution. You'll be the primary designer on the product team, working closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting user research and developing customer journeys
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Maintaining and evolving the design system for consistency across products
- Applying UX best practices in complex financial contexts
- Leveraging AI tools (Claude, etc.) to accelerate design iteration
- Ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG standards)
- Presenting design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Supporting engineering teams with interaction design specifications
- Working autonomously in a distributed, fast-paced environment
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in fintech, banking, or enterprise SaaS
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking (research, flows, problem-solving) and visual design craft
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience with AI design tools (Claude, Midjourney, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in distributed teams
- Remote or distributed team experience is a plus
