Axis Pay is a fintech startup building an interoperable mobile wallet for Egypt that enables money transfers between any mobile wallet, bill payments, online shopping via virtual Visa card, and QR code payments. The company is expanding into investment and wealth management products.
As Senior UX Writer, you will define the voice, tone, and language strategy across Axis's consumer and business products. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Researchers, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to create clear, accessible, and consistent product content that builds user confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing clear, concise, user-centered content for multiple Axis products
- Defining and maintaining Axis's product voice, tone, and content guidelines across all touchpoints
- Collaborating with Product Designers and PMs during discovery and delivery to shape intuitive experiences
- Using research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback to continuously improve product content
- Simplifying complex financial concepts, regulatory information, and error messages into accessible language
- Building and maintaining a scalable content design system, terminology, and localization guidelines in Arabic and English
- Partnering with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Experience teams to ensure consistency and compliance
You'll need 2+ years of UX Writing, Content Design, or Content Strategy experience with exceptional bilingual (Arabic/English) writing skills. Fintech, banking, or consumer tech experience is preferred. You should understand UX principles, accessibility, information architecture, and content-first design; be proficient in Figma and content collaboration tools; and have experience building content design systems, conducting content testing, and working with multilingual/localization projects. Familiarity with conversational UX, AI-assisted experiences, or chatbot design is a plus.
