ServiceTitan is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead research initiatives across two interconnected business areas: Field (technician and consumer payments experience) and Consumer (marketplace and agents). This role bridges research on both sides of the platform—trade professionals using ServiceTitan daily and end consumers (homeowners) who book and experience services through ServiceTitan-powered businesses.
You will conduct high-value generative and evaluative research on strategic initiatives, becoming the expert on user needs and problems in Field and Consumer areas. Key responsibilities include designing and executing field research with technicians and frontline workers, conducting studies with end consumers, and generating actionable insights that directly influence product roadmaps and design priorities. You'll collaborate with Data Science and Analytics to measure the impact of research-driven recommendations on live products.
A significant part of this role involves scaling research capacity through a self-service usability testing program. You'll mentor Associate UX Researchers, coach Product Designers and PMs on research methodologies, and help democratize research across the organization so teams can independently plan and run their own studies. You'll also partner with recruiting to source appropriate research participants from both trade-business and consumer segments, and participate in hiring for the research team.
You'll leverage AI-assisted analysis tools to run scenario modeling in research reviews and create reusable insight objects for the broader design and product organization.
