SecurityScorecard, the global leader in cybersecurity ratings with over 12 million companies continuously rated across 64 countries, is seeking a Senior UX Manager to lead and grow their design team. This is a player-coach role combining hands-on design excellence with people leadership and team management. You will directly manage a team of designers, owning team health, design velocity, and process. Key responsibilities include conducting 1:1s and performance reviews, running Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, design reviews), and ensuring design work is planned, visible, and delivered on cadence with Product and Engineering. You'll stay close to the craft—owning features end-to-end when needed, reviewing work daily, and setting the standard through your example. You'll serve as the primary design liaison to Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders, translating between design intent and business priorities while building cross-functional trust. You'll integrate usability testing and behavioral analytics (FullStory, Pendo) into design iterations, partnering with UX Research to ground decisions in evidence. Additionally, you'll champion AI-augmented design workflows (Figma AI, Claude, emerging tools) across the team to compress design cycles without sacrificing quality. Talent development is core to this role: build professional growth plans for every direct report, give direct and actionable feedback, stretch senior designers toward promotion, and establish the team as a place where great designers grow. You bring empathy, accountability, and an uncompromising results orientation—someone who has mastered senior individual contributor work and is ready to multiply that excellence through a team. SecurityScorecard is headquartered in New York City and has been recognized by Inc Magazine as a "Best Workplace," by Crain's NY as a "Best Places to Work in NYC," and named to Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies for 2023. The company is funded by world-class investors including Silver Lake Waterman, Moody's, Sequoia Capital, GV, and Riverwood Capital.
