Bitwarden is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join its India Engineering Center of Excellence. You will elevate the user experience for a password management and identity security platform trusted by millions worldwide. The role focuses on designing intuitive, delightful security products across desktop, mobile, web, and browser extension platforms.
Key responsibilities include conducting user research and feedback sessions, creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, designing production-ready interfaces, and collaborating with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders. You will facilitate design critique sessions, identify continuous UX improvement opportunities, and influence leadership decisions using data and user insights.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of product design experience, proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, expertise in user research and testing methodologies, technical design and systems thinking skills, and a strong portfolio demonstrating UI and interaction design capabilities. You should be collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about security and open-source initiatives.
Nice-to-have skills include startup experience, security-focused design background, B2B/B2C product design, WCAG accessibility knowledge, design systems development, and cross-platform design expertise. The ideal candidate combines high attention to detail with strong communication and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
