SecurityScorecard, the global leader in cybersecurity ratings with 12+ million companies continuously rated across 64 countries, is seeking a Senior UX Manager to lead their design team. This is a player-coach role combining hands-on design excellence with people leadership.
You will directly manage a team of designers, owning team health, design velocity, and process. Key responsibilities include conducting 1:1s and performance reviews, running Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, design reviews) to keep design integrated with Product and Engineering, and staying hands-on by owning features end-to-end when needed—from discovery through production handoff.
You'll serve as the primary design liaison to Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders, translating between design intent and business priorities while building cross-functional trust. The role emphasizes research and data integration, ensuring the team synthesizes usability testing and behavioral analytics (FullStory, Pendo) into design iterations grounded in evidence.
A key focus is championing AI-augmented design workflows (Figma AI, Claude, emerging tools) to compress design cycles without sacrificing quality. You'll build professional growth plans for direct reports, give direct and actionable feedback, and cultivate a culture of transparency where every designer knows their trajectory.
The ideal candidate has mastered senior individual contributor design work—end-to-end product design, design systems, accessibility-first execution, AI-native workflows—and is ready to multiply that excellence through a team. You lead with empathy and intention while maintaining uncompromising accountability to outcomes.
