Ping Identity is seeking a Senior UX Designer/Developer to join its UX Design team. This hybrid role blends user experience design with frontend prototyping, positioned at the intersection of design and code.
You will use code as a design tool to explore ideas, validate interactions, and shape product direction. You'll prototype interactive user experiences to communicate concepts before implementation, design experiences for complex enterprise SaaS applications, and collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, designers, and engineers.
Key responsibilities include: rapidly prototyping workflows and interactions; designing user experiences for enterprise SaaS; partnering with engineering to ensure exceptional implementation quality; advocating for design quality through implementation review; balancing user needs, accessibility, technical constraints, and business goals; using modern design tools and frontend technologies (React, Vue, JavaScript, HTML, CSS); contributing to design systems and component libraries; leveraging AI-native design tools; designing AI-assisted experiences (conversational interfaces, guided configuration, intelligent recommendations); championing UX practices; and mentoring other designers through critique and collaboration.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience); 4+ years in UX design, frontend development, or hybrid design/development roles; strong portfolio demonstrating both thoughtful UX design and interactive coded prototypes; expert proficiency with modern UX design tools and component-based design systems; experience building interactive applications with React, Vue, or similar frameworks; strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and frontend best practices; experience using code as a prototyping medium; experience with component-based design systems and frontend component libraries.
