Flock is a telematics and AI-powered fleet safety company that helps prevent road accidents through real-time data and proactive interventions. Recently acquired by Admiral (UK's leading motor insurer), Flock is scaling rapidly with expanded budget and team. You'll be the second marketing hire, joining a Senior Marketing Manager. The role centers on two core pillars: events and content creation. Events: You'll co-plan the annual marketing calendar and own end-to-end execution of 7–9 events per year, including trade shows, conferences, and proprietary broker/customer events. This includes budget setting, stand design, day-of management, lead follow-up, and ROI reporting. Content: Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll develop and execute content strategy across LinkedIn (primary), the Flock blog, video, and website copy. You'll produce case studies, articles, thought leadership, product launch materials, and social assets multiple times per month. You'll also film and produce internal videos featuring team members, product demos, and customer stories. AI Integration: Flock is AI-native. You'll use AI tools daily to draft, edit, repurpose, and scale content while maintaining a distinctly human voice. You're expected to stay current with emerging tools and bring them into the team. Design & Production: You'll design assets in Figma and Claude Design to agency-quality standards, and manage social media strategy with consistent posting and engagement measurement. Key Responsibilities: - Own social media strategy, primarily LinkedIn, with product videos, carousels, infographics, and PDFs posted consistently and measured for engagement. - Create content at volume: case studies, articles, industry news, thought leadership, and product launch materials several times per month. - Film and produce videos with internal team members. - Coordinate and execute 7–9 events annually: trade shows, conferences, and customer/broker events. - Design assets in Figma and Claude Design to professional standards. - Use AI tools daily to draft, edit, and scale content while maintaining authentic voice. Requirements: - Significant content creation and social media experience, ideally in B2B tech, with measurable results from owning and executing a social strategy. - Portfolio of work available for immediate review. - Strong copywriting and communication skills, proven through published work. - Track record organizing and coordinating trade shows, conferences, or business events, plus internal stakeholder events. - Hands-on design skills in Figma and Claude Design (Adobe Creative Cloud a bonus). - Startup experience: you've worked in small organizations where you owned outcomes end-to-end, identified improvements, and executed without waiting for briefs. - Confident, critical use of AI across marketing work. - Nice to have: video editing experience, exposure to insurance, fleet, or telematics.
