Deliveroo, now part of DoorDash, is seeking a Senior University Recruiter to lead early-career talent acquisition for Engineering and Design teams across Europe. This is a foundational role in a newly unified global internship program spanning DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
You will own end-to-end recruitment for technical intern and new graduate roles across the UK and Finland, from sourcing through offer extension. Key responsibilities include designing and managing the European intern program framework, including onboarding, event planning, benefits coordination, and performance reviews. You'll embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles throughout the hiring process by diversifying sourcing channels, reducing assessment bias, and building diverse interview panels.
You'll serve as a bridge between Deliveroo and top university talent, establishing strategic partnerships with target institutions and diversity organizations while acting as a brand ambassador at industry events. The role requires coaching hiring managers and training interviewers on best practices for evaluating and mentoring early-career talent.
You'll also drive process optimization using data-driven insights—tracking pipeline metrics, refining workflows, and advising leadership on hiring efficiency improvements. This position reports to the Recruiting Manager for Global University Recruiting and is based at Deliveroo's London headquarters.
Required qualifications include significant full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced tech environment (in-house or agency), proven ability to build diverse talent pipelines and run campus hiring initiatives, strong project management and stakeholder influence skills, data-informed sourcing capabilities across platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS systems, and exceptional communication with adaptability to shifting priorities.
Preferred experience includes dedicated end-to-end university or early-careers recruitment program management and hands-on Ashby ATS experience.
