Form Energy is a climate tech company manufacturing long-duration iron-air battery systems for grid-scale energy storage. The Senior Training Analyst will own the training function end-to-end at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, West Virginia, combining program management with technical depth to scale training as the manufacturing facility grows.
Key responsibilities include:
**Program Management & Strategy**: Define and execute the training roadmap, build and manage core training programs from design through steady-state operation, set measurable training goals (workforce readiness, safety, retention), and prioritize work across production lines and shifts.
**Needs Analysis & Instructional Design**: Conduct skills-gap analyses across production lines, translate complex technical information into accessible training for all experience levels, and recommend data-driven investments in training time and budget.
**New-Hire Onboarding**: Own the complete onboarding program from site orientation through role-specific ramp-up, scale onboarding to match hiring pace, and track metrics to maintain consistent time-to-competency.
**Community Outreach & Talent Pipeline**: Build partnerships with local schools, community colleges, and workforce organizations; design and run a structured internship program with a documented path to full-time roles; track pipeline health metrics; represent Form Energy at community and workforce-development events.
**Analytics, Reporting & Compliance**: Manage training records in the LMS, analyze completion rates and competency data to identify trends and gaps, build dashboards for leadership, and maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with safety and regulatory requirements.
**Cross-Functional Partnership**: Coordinate training schedules with Production, partner with Engineering and Quality on process changes, align with People/Recruiting on hiring ramps, and ensure consistent delivery across shifts.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, education, or related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in technical training, program/project management, or related roles in manufacturing/industrial settings, and a proven track record running structured programs end-to-end.
