Airwallex is seeking a Senior Total Rewards Partner to lead compensation, benefits, and equity programs across the Americas (US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico). This is a founding role for the regional Total Rewards function, reporting into the global People & Talent team based in Singapore and China. You will own end-to-end execution of compensation strategy, including salary structures, pay positioning, merit and bonus cycles, and offer decisions. You'll manage the complete benefits lifecycle—plan design, annual renewals, broker negotiations, and ACA/ERISA compliance. You'll partner with the global rewards team on equity administration (RSUs, ISOs, ESPPs, vesting, taxation, SEC compliance) and lead major Total Rewards initiatives, including IPO readiness work. Key responsibilities include using market data and benchmarking to inform pay strategy, managing compensation cycles to keep ranges market-aligned, and serving as the go-to rewards partner for recruiters, managers, and People Partners across the region. You'll work cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, People Partners, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership on compensation decisions, organizational structure, systems, equity budgets, and compliance. Minimum qualifications: 8+ years in total rewards, compensation, or benefits with Americas experience; proven ability to build and manage complete rewards programs (compensation, benefits, equity); end-to-end benefits process management including broker and carrier negotiations; strong compensation data analytics and modeling skills; working knowledge of US stock administration and equity compensation mechanics; and experience at late-stage private or pre-IPO companies through public transition. Preferred: multi-region rewards experience, familiarity with tools like Carta, BambooHR, Workday, and survey sources like Radford or Compensia, and comfort operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with evolving priorities.
