Salary: USD 69,000 - 84,000 / annual
Workit Health, an industry-leading telemedicine provider specializing in evidence-based addiction treatment and recovery, is seeking a Senior Total Rewards Analyst to join its HR team. This remote role reports to the Sr. Manager, People Services and owns day-to-day payroll and employee tax operations for a company of 150–200 employees and contractors.
You will be the primary payroll and tax expert, responsible for full-cycle payroll processing, multi-state tax compliance, and leave administration (FMLA, ADA, PFL). Key responsibilities include optimizing payroll and tax operations, creating and executing compliant pay and leave processes, providing excellent employee support across multiple communication channels, driving strategy for complex multi-state compliance issues, leading special projects for new state expansion efforts, managing equity administration in Carta, and serving as a senior escalation point for benefits programs.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in People Operations, People Services, or Payroll roles, with 2+ years as the primary payroll point of contact and 1+ years owning or administering employee leaves. You must demonstrate deep expertise in payroll, employee taxes, pay laws, and leave compliance across multiple states. You are proactive, detail-oriented, excellent at managing concurrent projects, and skilled with Google Suite and professional documentation. Experience with Rippling, HR/Payroll certification, and passion for behavioral health are preferred. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on operational excellence and compliance in a growing healthcare company.
