Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to join its talent acquisition team. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier technical talent to support rapid growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Talent Identification: Use advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and social media platforms to uncover passive and active technical candidates with relevant expertise in hardware, aerospace, autonomy, and defense systems.
• Candidate Engagement: Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective talent through tailored messaging and personalized outreach, demonstrating deep understanding of technical skill sets and career motivations.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for critical technical roles, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality candidates aligned with hiring needs.
• Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand technical role requirements, translate business needs into sourcing strategies, and align efforts with broader recruitment goals.
• Process Improvement: Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine strategies, optimize workflows, and continuously improve sourcing effectiveness.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 6 years in technical sourcing or recruiting with proven success hiring for technical roles. You must have strong understanding of modern technology stacks, hardware development processes, and technical skill sets. Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in team-oriented, fast-paced environments required.
Preferred qualifications include proven experience in startups, tech, or defense-related fields (AAV, UAS, AUV, weapons programs). Expertise with Greenhouse, Gem, AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter is valued. Ideal candidates are self-sufficient, proactive problem-solvers who communicate directly, take ownership, demonstrate resilience, and maintain high curiosity with low ego.
