Salary: USD 115,000 - 150,000 / annual

You will be a Senior Technical Sourcer responsible for building and scaling the Software Engineering talent pipeline. Working closely with recruiters and hiring teams, you'll develop creative strategies to identify, engage, and recruit top passive talent across the engineering organization. You'll act as a subject matter expert on market trends and engineering talent insights, driving a high-impact passive recruitment strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters to understand job requirements and hiring priorities
- Research and identify passive candidate pools, with emphasis on diversity
- Conduct personalized 1-to-1 outreach to qualified engineering candidates
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates against multiple high-priority requisitions
- Maintain accurate records in Greenhouse ATS and sourcing databases
- Execute routine candidate follow-up schedules with precision
- Analyze response and engagement metrics; A/B test messaging strategies to optimize outreach
- Provide general project and recruiting support to the Talent team as needed
- Work onsite five days per week in San Mateo
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience as a sourcer on high-volume technical placements
- Demonstrated ability to identify and engage hard-to-find talent
- Proven pipeline management using Greenhouse, LinkedIn, and multiple sourcing channels
- Experience with sourcing tools such as Gem or Covey
- Data-driven mindset; ability to use metrics to inform decisions
- Strong organizational skills, high energy, and sense of urgency
- Passion for Verkada's mission and brand
- Proven success working across all organizational levels
- Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
