Salary: USD 110,000 - 200,000 / annual

As Senior Technical Sourcer, you will own talent acquisition strategy for Decagon's engineering organization during a critical growth phase. You'll work directly with recruiters, engineering leaders, and hiring managers to build and maintain high-quality pipelines of exceptional software engineers. Your responsibilities include mapping the technical talent market, identifying and engaging hard-to-reach candidates, and continuously raising hiring standards as the company scales.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiting and engineering leadership to develop sourcing strategies aligned with hiring roadmaps
- Identify, research, and engage exceptional engineering talent across multiple specializations
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for open and anticipated roles
- Use creative outreach techniques and market knowledge to attract passive candidates
- Measure sourcing effectiveness, iterate on approaches, and share insights with the team
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and culture fit
You bring 4+ years of technical sourcing experience, ideally from high-growth or talent-dense technology companies. You have a proven track record identifying and engaging top-tier software engineers and consistently delivering against ambitious hiring goals. Experience sourcing specialized talent in AI/ML, infrastructure, or distributed systems is particularly valuable. You thrive in fast-paced environments, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and combine creativity with data-driven decision-making to find and attract exceptional talent.
