First Due is a mission-driven enterprise software company providing end-to-end software solutions to fire and EMS agencies. As a Senior Technical Services Analyst on the Data Migration team, you will own the full lifecycle of complex data migration projects for Enterprise, State, Federal, and Multi-Agency customers implementing the First Due platform.
You will be a data expert and systems thinker who translates how fire agencies have structured 20 years of operational data into migration plans that move records cleanly while positioning customers for success in the new system. This role requires deep technical execution combined with consultative customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end data migration delivery (requirements gathering, extraction, transformation, loading, validation, go-live support); analyzing complex legacy data structures and designing migration approaches that account for system-level impact; authoring advanced SQL to extract and transform data from diverse sources (SQL backups, CSV, XML, TXT, multi-system exports); solving novel migration challenges including multi-system consolidations and non-standard data structures; executing quality assurance on deployed data; translating customer operational models into First Due's architecture; identifying gaps and proposing solutions; and serving as the technical voice in customer conversations about data scope and feasibility.
Beyond project delivery, you will mentor junior analysts on SQL, data architecture, validation approaches, and best practices; provide technical review across active projects; contribute to internal tooling and process design; and partner with Implementation Managers, Data Operations, Product, and Engineering on cross-functional initiatives.

You will bring curiosity and technical depth to these efforts, testing new tools, identifying repetitive work to automate, and helping shape how data migration evolves from a manual craft into a scalable, automated discipline.
