Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision. The Technical Revenue Accounting team ensures financial reporting accuracy and integrity as the company scales globally. As a Senior Technical Revenue Accountant reporting to the Manager of Technical Revenue Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent and compliant application of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards. Key responsibilities include: • Lead detailed contract reviews: Analyze complex, multi-element arrangements and prepare ASC 606 checklists to document technical accounting conclusions for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition. • Establish fair value: Support, calculate, and maintain Standalone Selling Price (SSP) and fair value determinations for Anduril's advanced product and service offerings. • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals teams to streamline contract accounting operations. • Technical research and guidance: Research ASC 606 codification for complex revenue scenarios, deliver expert guidance on deal structuring, and author comprehensive technical accounting memos. • Audit management: Liaise with external auditors, manage requests proactively, and provide clear documentation for complex transactions. • Process innovation: Identify and implement improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle to drive efficiency and support rapid growth. • Month-end close: Prepare and review complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for timely, accurate closes. • Controls and compliance: Assist in formulating, implementing, and testing internal controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with SOX, GAAP, and IPO readiness requirements. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years of progressive technical accounting experience with strong ASC 606 application; exceptional communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Slack; hands-on ERP experience (Oracle, SAP preferred; Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce strongly preferred); demonstrated government contracting experience (FFP, CPFF, T&M, CR contracts highly desirable). Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
